BESV JAPAN, which handles the next-generation premium e-Bike "BESV," will release three models simultaneously on March 1, 2025 as the third series of the BESV×ART project "MAISON BESV" in collaboration with artist JUN INAGAWA in cooperation with Collection of Art Co. Ltd. and artist JUN INAGAWA in collaboration with Collection of Art, Inc.

In recent years, e-bikes have evolved from mere tools to fashion items that allow people to express their individuality, and BESV will create a new lifestyle by fusing contemporary art and other forms of creativity.

The next generation premium e-Bike "BESV" (BESV JAPAN Co., Ltd.) is developing the "MAISON BESV" series, which proposes special BESVs clothed in each artist's inspiration, in cooperation with Collection of Art Co.

Up until now, we have collaborated with domestic and international artists such as Takeru Amano and Ben Eine, and have proposed a unique model that is uniquely you through your individual uniqueness and lifestyle through art.

Now, as a collaboration model between artist JUN INAGAWA and the electrically power assisted bicycle Votani H3, a total of three models will be released: a limited edition of one "drawing model" with a handwritten illustration, and a limited edition of 50 units each of "run run run run model" and "girl and girl model". JUN INAGAWA's artwork will be released.

JUN INAGAWA's artwork attracts many fans with its free expression that intersects street culture, animation, and art. Artist Information

JUN INAGAWA

Hero, manga artist, musician.

While strongly influenced by anime and manga, he spent his middle and high school years in California, USA. During his solitary time in a foreign country, he explored his own aesthetic and established a unique visual expression incorporating elements of street art and pop culture.

In 2017, he collaborated with Paradis3 led by skater "Sean Pablo," which led him to participate in the "Younglord (A$AP Bari)" event held in Los Angeles. )" in Los Angeles, where he created a mural for the VLONE POP UP. Since then, he has collaborated with fashion brands such as Diesel and Supreme, designed stage costumes for world-renowned artist "Billie Eilish", and designed the costumes for Japanese girl group He is also active in a wide range of fields, including stage costume design for international artist "Billie Eilish" and jacket illustration for Japanese girl group "BiSH".

In 2022, he formed the unit "Frog 3" and started his career as a musician.

JUN INAGAWA drew directly on the e-Bike to create a special drawing model, which is a unique art piece that can only be found once in this world.

His characters are delicately and powerfully drawn on the frame, handlebars, wheels, and various other parts of the e-bike, each with a presence that seems to tell a story.

The entire design is filled with the warmth and dynamism that only hand-drawing can bring. The curves and details are carefully depicted, giving the characters a lively impression as if they are about to start moving with the e-Bike.

Positive messages such as "With a Dream in your heart....you are never alone..." are written in various places, delicately and powerfully depicted in the parts that inspire the rider, each one telling a story. Each one has a sense of presence as if it is telling a story.

The entire design is filled with the warmth and dynamism that only hand-drawing can bring. The curves and details are carefully depicted, making the characters seem as if they are about to start moving with the e-Bike, encouraging them on their journey to their dreams.

A special helmet (*1) with drawings by JUNINAGAWA is also included.

The rusted and peeling texture also incorporates elements reminiscent of desolate urban landscapes, symbolizing the inorganic nature of modern society.

On the left side of the frame, girls sprinting in the direction of travel symbolize hope and challenge, and reflect an attitude of moving forward in pursuit of change. On the right side of the frame, the girls running away in the opposite direction evoke irony and a spirit of rebellion against society and existing values. This collaboration is an attempt to express JUN INAGAWA's irony toward society with BESV's innovative e-bike "Votani.

The two girls with identical faces, who look like clones, are a metaphor for mass-produced individuality and an identical society. They symbolize the loss of identity and the attempt to resist it in the modern age. Their existence, as they attempt to redefine individuality in the face of inorganic values, conveys a message of rebellion and rebirth. The rusted and peeling textures reflect the landscape of a devastated city and an exhausted society. The girls are in a decaying space that seems to have been left behind by the current of the times, yet they continue to embrace a silent rebellion. The eyes of these girls express the strength of their will to keep going on their own despite the defiance of the times.

In this design, the girl on one side symbolizes challenge and hope for the future, while the girl on the other side suggests escape from the past and reality. She is conflicted and resigned, but never gives up her will to rebel. Thus, conflicting emotions of hope and disappointment, progress and regression coexist in one product.
