E-KON Co., Ltd. will start pre-order sales of "E-KON RIDE," a specific small moped electric bike of a new dimension that took a year and a half to develop, on May 10 (tentative) at Makemake.

Background of Development

Many mopeds and electric bikes currently sold in Japan are imported from Europe and the United States, and are sold with safety parts that meet Japanese laws.

However, many people have voiced their concerns that these bikes are too large for Japanese people and that they cannot reach their feet because they are designed to fit the height of Western users.

E-KON spent a year and a half in development and succeeded in developing the best size, design, and specifications for a specific small moped in Japan's history.
