Agriturismo YUTAKA opened in August 2024 with the aim of becoming "an inn that conveys the charm of nature and lifestyle in the southern foothills of the Yatsugatake Mountains. Chef Yu Baba and his wife Yuki, a concierge, have been living in Kobuchizawa-cho, Hokuto City for 16 years. While training at the Hoshino Resort Resort Yatsugatake and other facilities, they have learned the local flavor and seasonality of food by growing more than 60 varieties of vegetables a year on their own farm, without relying on pesticides and chemical fertilizers. In recent years, as people, especially in urban areas, seek to connect with nature, Agriturismo Yutaka proposes the "Farm to table tour" as a main activity included in the room rate.
