What is the "Kintsugi HERO Necktie" project?
This crowdfunding project was started to support the activities of Nakayoshi Gakuen, which continues its educational support activities in conflict and poverty-stricken areas around the world, and to introduce the charm and new possibilities of the traditional Japanese craft of Nishijin textiles to the world. This project is a project to support the return of neckties that directly contribute to world peace activities, rather than the SDG badges.

What is "Kintsugi HERO Necktie"?
This tie is modeled after the tie worn by Nakayoshi Gakuen in 2022 when it gave speeches at the United Nations and at Windsor Castle in England in recognition of its past activities, and was created using Kyoto's traditional Nishijin brocade. Inspired by the spirit of kintsugi, a traditional Japanese technique of restoring beauty to damaged objects, this tie was developed as a HERO tie to bring peace to the world, representing the "beauty of cooperation" that is created by connecting people with each other.
