Background of Development

Since its establishment, the store has continued to make confectionaries that do not respect traditional procedures and rules, with the single-minded desire to "create something that does not yet exist in the world". As a result, we have created products such as "Moon Cream(*1)" and "Cheese & Cheese Cake(*2)" that are a wonderful departure from the norm in the confectionery world.

The carrot cake was also born out of the same desire to create something that did not yet exist in this world, and it was completed after many difficulties, including the use of pistachios, a difficult ingredient to handle.

(*1) Scones made with an addictive cream mixture of fresh cream, white chocolate, condensed milk, and a dash of Cointreau. A popular item among repeat customers.

(*2) A rich cheesecake made with 40% cream cheese. This is our signature product.

The dough is based on a traditional recipe and uses 1/3 of a carrot per cake. Flour is kept to a minimum while a perfect balance of strong, light, and French flours is used. Although it contains plenty of carrots, the "carrot smell" is hardly noticeable.

*Carrots & pistachios make you feel 0 guilt.

The cream used in this carrot cake is richly enriched with 36g of pistachios. Pistachios contain high quality fat and protein, which can be expected for those who are concerned about beauty. Of course, carrots also contain beta-carotene, dietary fiber, and vitamins.

*Healthy ingredients are used.

Other ingredients include nuts such as cashews and walnuts, which are rich in vitamin E and minerals, and spices such as orange, cinnamon, clove, and black pepper in a unique balance.
