Koshokai Corporation (Head office: Uji City, Kyoto; President: Masahiro Tamai), which operates the "Sukkama Genji no Yu" brand of hot spring baths, will celebrate its third anniversary on April 15, 2025. Sukkama Genji no Yu" (Location: Souraku-gun, Kyoto Prefecture), a therapeutic bathhouse in town that combines natural hot spring water and natural skin care, will celebrate its third anniversary on April 15, 2025.

To commemorate the third anniversary, we will hold the event "Sukkama Genji no Yu SEASON 3" for two months from April 1 (Tuesday) to May 31 (Saturday), 2025, as a token of our gratitude to local residents and Sukkama Genji no Yu members.

There will be two types of events: one open to everyone, and the other for Sukkama Genji no Yu members only.

A hot spring complex equipped with a traditional Korean traditional sauna, "Sukkama (charcoal kiln sweat lodge)," four types of sweat lodges (bedrock baths), a jjimjilbang space with a rest area, natural hot spring (hot spring for beautiful skin), high concentration carbonic acid spring, garden sauna, food and beverages, and other facilities.

＜What is Sukkama (Charcoal Kiln Sweat Steam Tub)?

Far-infrared rays are emitted in the process of making charcoal by burning sawtooth oak (charcoal) in a fire kiln, and plenty of heat is accumulated in the kiln. In Korea, the traditional folk remedy has long been to enter the kiln and take a hot air bath using the residual heat. This is the first reproduction of the traditional Korean authentic sukkama in Japan.

Adult admission is 800 yen (tax included) instead of the usual 1,000 yen (tax included) on weekdays and 1,100 yen (tax included) on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays!
