AEON Lake Town, one of the largest shopping malls in Japan (Koshigaya City, Saitama Prefecture), will hold "Ice Cream Expo 2025," a 12-day ice cream festival from April 25 (Friday) to May 6 (Tuesday, holiday), 2025, where visitors can enjoy ice cream from Japan and abroad.

AEON Lake Town, a landmark and a magnet for visitors of all ages, is located in Saitama Prefecture, which boasts Japan's top-class ice cream production and shipments and consistently ranks at the top in terms of consumption. This year will mark the 13th time the "Ice Cream Expo" will be held in this "location". The event is usually held during a major holiday weekend starting at the end of April, prior to "Ice Cream Day" on May 9, and usually attracts 100,000 visitors during the period.
The "Ice Cream Expo" is a gourmet event with the theme of "ice cream from all over the world" organized by the members of the Gotochi Gourmet Research Association, which held Japan's first ice cream expo in 2002. The event incorporates deep into the enjoyment and culture of ice cream not only in Japan but also in other countries around the world. Visitors will be exposed to a wide variety of ice cream that they cannot experience in their daily lives, from historic and traditional products limited to local regions to trendy items, as well as interesting combinations and surprising encounters with new flavors.
During Golden Week in 2025, more than 100 varieties of ice cream will be gathered at all 9 stores. You will be able to enjoy ice cream from all over the world without having to go away for a major holiday weekend.

Owned by Daizo Shibano, who is certified as the world's best gelato artisan in Italy and serves as the World Gelato Ambassador, this store is a much talked-about gelateria that was certified as the "World's Best Gelato Shop" in 2021.
From this store, a special team of young gelatarians was formed: Tatsuhiko Hama, who won the Japanese champion in the 2024 Gelato Maestro Contest, and Kaito Onishi, who has won prizes in world competitions and is making a splash in the Japanese gelato world.
