Yawata City Tourism Association (Location: Yawata City, Kyoto Prefecture; President: Tsuneakiyo Tanaka) has published two types of tourist pamphlets introducing the attractions of Yawata City and the surrounding area in conjunction with the Souwari-zutsumi Cherry Blossom Festival (April 5 - 13). The purpose of the brochures is to encourage visitors to enjoy the history, culture, and beautiful scenery of the surrounding area when they visit the cherry blossoms at the Souwari-zutsumi.

■ Starting from the cherry blossoms of the Backwari-Tsutsumi, visitors can enjoy the charms of the surrounding area!

The pamphlet is a "Kyoto Yawata Sansaku Spring Edition" introducing temples, shrines, and events in Yawata City, and a "Leisurely, leisurely tour" introducing sightseeing spots in the Yodo district of Fushimi Ward, Kyoto City, Nagaokakyo City, Yawata City, and Oyamazaki Town around Shiowari-Tsutsumi.

Kyoto Yawata Sansaku Spring Edition

After enjoying cherry blossom viewing at the "Shiowaritsutsumi Cherry Blossom Festival" (Yawata City), one of the most popular cherry blossom viewing spots in the Kansai region, the "Otokoyama Cherry Blossom Festival" held on the grounds of Ishimizu Hachimangu, one of the three major Hachimangu shrines in Japan, as well as information on events such as open days of temples normally closed to the public, Shokado Garden and art exhibitions are included. The contents of this brochure allow visitors to enjoy the profound charms of Yawata City in combination with hanami (cherry blossom viewing).

A leisurely, leisurely tour of the Yodogawa River Park

This tour introduces temples, shrines, castle ruins, art museums, beer breweries, and flower viewing spots scattered in four cities and towns (Yodo district, Fushimi-ku, Nagaokakyo City, Yawata City, and Oyamazaki Town) around Yodo River Park's Shiwari-Tsutsumi area (Yawata City). The pamphlet proposes a relaxing and leisurely tour of Kyoto's suburbs.

History, culture, and spectacular views from the brochure
