Tokyu Corporation ("Tokyu") and Tokyu Agency Inc. ("Tokyu Agency") will collaborate with Spotify (company name: Spotify AB / headquarters: Stockholm, Sweden) ("Spotify"), an audio streaming service used by more than 626 million users worldwide, ) ("Spotify"), a company with more than 626 million users worldwide, will operate a special train called the "Spotify Podcast Train" ("the Project") on the Denentoshi Line from Monday, March 31 to Sunday, April 13, 2025, where passengers can enjoy popular podcasts*1 through in-train advertisements.
This project is a collaboration between Spotify, a leader in the revitalization of podcasts, which are becoming increasingly prominent as a new medium, and Tokyu and Tokyu Agency, which are working to create new entertainment experiences using advertising media inside Tokyu Line trains and in Shibuya. This is the first attempt in Japan to jack up all the ads in the train with podcast ads by Spotify. This project is also part of the "TOQ IMMERSIVE OOH_SOUND "*2 service launched by Tokyu Agency in March 2025.
In this project, when customers scan the QR code*3 on the in-train ads with their smartphones or other devices, an audio clipping of the podcast will be played on a dedicated website, allowing them to "discover a little something" that will bring humor and insight to their experience. Under the theme of "A Little Discovery on a Regular Train. the ads aim to enhance the enjoyment of travel time, especially during commuting to and from work. We will also survey the degree of satisfaction of those who come into contact with the ads and the impact on their subsequent behavior through questionnaires and other means.
Tokyu and Tokyu Agency, which owns the outdoor and transit advertising media brand TOKYU OOH, will continue to deliver unique entertainment experiences to customers along the Tokyu Line through collaboration with Spotify and a variety of other companies.

■Procedures for experiencing the advertisements
(1) "Little discoveries" appearing in each program are quizzed on the posters above the windows in the train.
(2) Scan the QR code on the poster with your smart phone to go to the dedicated website.
(3) Play the audio clipping of the podcast program. (about 3 minutes)
(4) After the playback is complete, the answers to the quiz, "A Little Discovery," will be displayed on the site.
(5) After the experience, you can answer the questionnaire/share on SNS.
