SISON Corporation (Location: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo) will hold an exhibition of works by popular photographer Yoko Takahashi at SISON GALLERy in Daikanyama, starting on May 8, 2025 (Thursday).

Mulakhi, Georgia

Yoko Takahashi, who has been traveling and taking various photographs, photographs the life, culture, and landscape of the world as if she were doing fieldwork.

The works she has vigorously photographed in Eastern Europe, especially in the former Soviet Union, are one of her representative expressions, and her quiet yet unique expression with a sense of color has been highly acclaimed both domestically and internationally.

In this exhibition, about 20 works of various sizes will be on display and for sale.

Artist Profile

YOKO TAKAHASHI / Yoko Takahashi

Photographer.

Born in Kyoto, Japan. After graduating from university, she worked as an assistant before becoming a photographer.

After returning to Japan from San Francisco in 2020, she is currently based in Tokyo, working actively in magazines and advertising, and publishing photo collections and visual journals.
