What is wax-belt dyeing?

Wax painting is a dyeing technique in which melted wax is used to prevent dyeing (when dyed later with dyestuff, the dyed part will not be dyed and will become a pattern). It is called "roketsu" (wax batik), and is said to be one of the representative dyeing techniques in Japan along with "koketsu" (tie-dyeing) and "夾纈" (itajime tie-dyeing).

The characteristics of roketsuke-dyeing include: a high degree of freedom in which the touch of the brush is reflected as it is in the line drawing; the ability to express colors depending on the thickness of the wax to be applied; and the ability to express a wide variety of colors by allowing the dye to seep into the cracks that are created when the wax cools and dries.

Despite such a wonderful technique, the complexity of the technique and the need for tools have made it a speciality of a limited number of enthusiasts and craftspeople.

The current situation is that manufacturers of brazing tools have been withdrawing from the market with the passage of time, and commercial products have ceased to be available. On the other hand, there is no substitute for a "wax melter" that can maintain the sufficient temperature necessary for wax dyeing.

We decided to develop a new brazing machine in order to pass on the excellence of brazing to the next generation, and through a process of trial and error, we have finally completed a new product that is easier and safer to use, by finding and obtaining the cooperation of electronics manufacturers who agree with our purpose.

The "Brazing Melt" weighs approximately 2.4 kg and has 4-point feet for safer use at home, making it difficult to tip over and ensuring stable operation.

The wax cups are interchangeable, allowing you to use several different types of wax.

The increased wax capacity allows for the use of brushes and other large width brushes.
