About the Luxlife Magazine Restaurant & Bar Award

This award is sponsored by Luxlife Magazine, a web magazine for the affluent class launched in the UK in 2015. The magazine selects and awards companies and restaurants from around the world that are recognized for their achievements.

Our charcoal barbeque restaurant was recognized for its "authentic yakiniku (grilled meat) using the finest binchotan charcoal and ingredients from the wilds of Hokkaido. This is the third consecutive year that our restaurant has received the award since the first award in 2023.

Of the 14 companies and restaurants worldwide that have received the award for three consecutive years, we are the first yakiniku restaurant in the world to receive the award for three consecutive years.

A Small Town Restaurant Draws Attention from Abroad

Shiraoi-cho, Shiraoi-gun, Hokkaido, where our company is located, is a small town in Hokkaido with a population of about 15,000. Shiraoi Town, which does not attract much attention when compared to other popular Hokkaido sightseeing areas such as Sapporo, Otaru, and Hakodate, has become the first yakiniku restaurant in the world to win the award for three consecutive years.

Since winning the award for the first time in 2023, the restaurant has been visited by more than 400 couples every month, or 1,500 people, and over 23,000 people per year, which is more than the population of Shiraoi Town. In particular, access to our website from Taiwan has quadrupled. In addition, since 2024, we have introduced web reservations through our website and have received more than 110 reservations per month. In the future, we plan to introduce a waiting list ticketing machine and mobile ordering system, and hire foreign employees to further attract customers and improve customer satisfaction, both domestically and internationally.

Attractiveness of Amano Family Farm

Amano Family Farm is a charcoal-grilled BBQ restaurant that started out selling Shiraoi beef next to a farm in 1993, and opened its first restaurant in 1999 after receiving certification as a Hokkaido Entrepreneurship Promotion Project in 1998.

Shiraoi Beef, Hokkaido's representative black Japanese brand beef, is served with fresh meat and at a reasonable price range. By grilling the beef over Binchotan charcoal, you can enjoy the original flavor of Shiraoi beef. Another of our specialties is "Seasonal Vegetable Kimchi," which changes every two months. It is so popular that some customers come to the restaurant just to buy it.

Outside the restaurant is a natural garden filled with colorful flowers, and from May to October, the terrace is open to the public so that you can enjoy your meal while taking in the delicious air.
