TKG+1 with rice cooked in a rice kettle
What is Kimitsu no Asameshi?
Kimitsu no Asameshi is a hands-on event held every spring and fall in Kimitsu City, Chiba Prefecture. This spring, the event will be held every Sunday morning from April 13 until the beginning of the rainy season.
Participants will chop the wood, cook the rice themselves using a kamado and hagama, and choose from several varieties of fresh local eggs to make the best tamagokake gohan (rice topped with egg), a dish unlike anything else they normally eat.
