Textile Designer Kaede Nakazawa Exhibition "KILIG" by Kaede Nakazawa, a textile designer, will be held at gallery Casa de pano in Kamakura from May 2 (Fri) to 4 (Sun).

Casa de pano will hold an exhibition "KILIG" by Kaede Nakazawa, a young textile designer, from May 2 (Fri.) to May 4 (Sun.), 2025.

Casa de pano is an open space with a ceiling height of approximately 4 meters, created in 2023 as a gallery specializing in textile exhibitions.

In this exhibition, Nakazawa will present new textiles, mainly botanical patterns, which were created with the same sense of dancing heart that she felt in her childhood. The ceiling height is utilized to create a space that resembles a botanical garden. In addition to the illustration exhibition, visitors will also be able to view the files of drawings created on a daily basis.

In addition, there will be fresh flowers and flower bags created in collaboration with _ish., a small floral atelier in Kamakura, a city of sea and mountains, and cookie tins featuring a rabbit and flower motif filled with cookies from the plant-based bakery "weekend".

As events linked to the exhibition, a bouquet-assembling workshop by flower atelier "_ish." and a portrait session by Kaede Nakazawa (limited to one pair per day) will also be held.

Kaede Nakazawa, Textile Designer

Kaede Nakazawa was born in Kanagawa, Japan in 1999, and graduated from Tama Art University in 2022 with a major in textile design, where she worked for 3 years as an assistant designer. She continues to work as an artist, valuing textile designs and illustrations that bring a bit of happiness and a happy feeling to everyday life.

In this workshop, you will create your own bouquet of flowers to match your original collaborative flower bag. You can make your own bouquet by choosing your own flowers from the flowers we have prepared.

Baked sweets shop weekend

Based in an atelier in Gokurakuji, Kamakura, filled with greenery, this bakery produces gluten-free and plant-based baked goods. Using delicious rice flour from Yamagata Prefecture, the owner's beautiful hometown, as a base, she chooses ingredients that are as organic and environmentally friendly as possible, and hopes to deliver baked goods that will gently accompany you in your daily life. She is always researching in her atelier with this in mind.

(3) Portrait drawing session by textile designer Kaede Nakazawa

We will draw your portrait with acrylic gouache and colored pencils on postcard size paper. The portrait will be framed in a paper frame depicting a birth flower and delivered to the customer.

If you would like to have more than one person, the second person and after will be charged +500 yen/person.
