KANZU TRAVEL Ltd. (Location: 206, Welshman Ikebukuro, 1-17-3 Higashi-Ikebukuro, Toshima-ku, Tokyo; President: Miharu Katsume) will hold a completely free performance of the "Wartburg College Japan-US Friendship Concert" on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at the Bunkyo Civic Hall in Tokyo.
We hope that the concert will not only make it easier for people to enjoy the gorgeous performance by the 43-member Wartburg College Symphonic Band, which is active in the United States, but also that it will be an opportunity for people who are interested in starting a brass band, who are interested in brass band music, or who just want to hear one performance, to come to the concert and broaden the band's circle of friends and acquaintances. Wartburg College Symphonic Band
Wartburg College, founded in 1852, is a Lutheran liberal arts college.
It is known for its commitment to practical and realistic education, and is the only college in Iowa with a major in music therapy. The Wind Ensemble, which will visit Japan this time, was founded in 1898 and gives concerts all over the world every spring.
The Wind Ensemble has performed at Carnegie Hall in New York in 2003, toured Europe in 1997, 2001, 2004, and 2010, and toured Japan in 2007 and 2013, and their excellent performances have been highly acclaimed around the world.
