Poop-Covered Products Exhibition Vol.2 – A Summer Festival Full of Poop and Passion

The UnC Promotion Committee, jointly operated by six organizations including Epic & Lyric Corp. (Kawasaki City, Kanagawa / CEO: Miwa Makino), will host the second “Poop-Covered Products Exhibition” on July 19 (Sat) and 20 (Sun), 2025, at the Tokyo Stationery Kyowa Kaikan in Asakusabashi.

This unique two-day event will showcase and sell poop-themed handmade crafts and food products, offer gut health advice, and provide a wide range of fun, poop-inspired experiences. There will also be original “UnC” music dance sessions, rock-paper-scissors tournaments, and more interactive fun for all attendees!

■It All Started with a Pop-Up in Yamagata

The roots of this event trace back to a small pop-up shop at “Okagesama Stationery Shop” in Yamagata, where artists and creators gathered with poop-themed goods and toilet-related products. The positive response was overwhelming, with visitors and creators from beyond the prefecture asking, “Please do it again!”

This led to the first full-scale Poop-Covered Products Exhibition in November 2024 in Tokyo. The event welcomed over 300 guests—far more than expected—and was met with excited feedback like “That was so much fun!” and “I can’t wait for the next one!”

Now, we're back for round two—this time in the heat of summer, with a festival-style theme:
“The Poop-Covered Summer Festival!”

The Theme of This Event Is... Poop!!

The central theme of this event is "poop" — a word that many adults often avoid, considering it embarrassing or inappropriate. But think back to your childhood. For many of us, “poop” was a magical word — silly, fun, and endlessly amusing.

In truth, excretion is a vital function for every living being on Earth. It's a part of life we all share — a reminder of our common humanity (and biology).

This event is about keeping a sense of playfulness alive. It's about honoring the natural rhythms of life, no matter how messy or funny they might seem. While poop might sound like a joke at first, it actually represents a surprisingly deep and essential aspect of being alive.

Through this two-day event, we — the grown-ups — are choosing to embrace the theme wholeheartedly, seriously, and joyfully. By doing so, we hope to send a message to children who may be struggling to find hope, and to adults who have forgotten how to enjoy the moment: “Life can be fun. Adulthood can be awesome!”

This is an event packed with humor, heart, and a whole lot of poop — and we can’t wait to share it with you.

Our panel artist and vendor, kaohame deco., will set up original face-in-hole photo panels for the ultimate poop-themed photo op. Our staff will help you snap the perfect memory to take home!
