Eucalyptus Hill's First "Place for Food Challenges" Born of Local Demand

Yamaman has been promoting growth-managed development in Eucalyptus Hill for over 50 years since 1971. By creating an area management group and visiting each house one by one, we have listened to the problems of daily life and requests for urban development. In the process, we have received many comments from residents such as "I miss the number of restaurants since the Corona disaster" and "I want a restaurant that is unique to Eucalyptus Hill.

On the other hand, although there are many businesses that want to start restaurants, it continues to be difficult to open new restaurants due to the initial investment and soaring prices. Against this backdrop, Yamaman has created a new type of support model that lowers the hurdles to opening a restaurant, giving birth to "The Terrace YUKARI," a food incubation facility that grows with the community.

The Terrace YUKARI is fully equipped with interior design, lighting, air conditioning, basic kitchen facilities, tables and chairs in all 8 lots so that prospective tenants can start operations immediately. All that is required to open a store is an application fee of 300,000 yen (tax not included), a security deposit, and miscellaneous expenses, greatly reducing the initial cost, which usually runs into the millions to tens of millions of yen.

Furthermore, after opening, we provide extensive support to attract customers, including operation of a dedicated website for the facility, management of Google Business Profile, flyer advertising (posting and posting), and distribution of web advertising, allowing even first-time restaurant operators to get off to a good start.

The Terrace YUKARI is not just a challenge store, but also a place where you can take your first steps to grow and establish yourself as a restaurant rooted in the community. The Terrace YUKARI" has been extensively renovated in terms of interior and exterior, and features a natural design that blends in with nature and an Easter curtain that creates a sense of openness. The space has been created so that there is no sense of boundary between the passageway and the store, and a terrace space is provided where customers can enjoy their meals while gazing at the greenery of the tree-lined avenue. It aims to be a local community spot that can be used by everyone, including families, couples, home workers, and mothers, in the morning, afternoon, and evening.
