KOEI science laboratory Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Wako, Saitama; President: Yoko Onodera), a company engaged in the research, production, and sale of lactic acid bacteria-derived substances under the theme "Toward Healthy Intestinal Flora," will hold the third annual "WAKO, FERMENTATION, HEALTH Table Tennis Festa 2025" on Saturday, June 14, 2025, as part of its community contribution efforts.
This citizen-focused sports event will feature Sho Sone and Hiromu Arinobu from the professional table tennis team T.T Saitama, as well as a special guest appearance by world-class cyclist Yumi Kajihara, who has won numerous international accolades including a gold medal at the 2020 World Championships, a silver medal at the Tokyo 2021 Olympics, and participation in the Paris 2024 Olympics.
Although general participant registration has reached full capacity, spectators are welcome to attend freely on the day of the event. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to witness top athletes in action and experience their elite techniques up close.

About T.T Saitama
A men’s professional table tennis team based in Saitama Prefecture. T.T Saitama won the Nojima T-League championship in the 2024-2025 season. This event provides a valuable opportunity to see elite players like Sho Sone and Hiromu Arinobu up close. First-time players are welcome, and rental rackets will be available.
About Yumi Kajihara
A professional cyclist from Wako City, Saitama Prefecture – the hometown of KOEI science laboratory. During the event, Kajihara will provide a talk and demonstration on body movement, body awareness, and physical maintenance techniques that can benefit everyone from professional cyclists to those who rarely exercise.

Founded in 1969 as a research institute specializing in lactic acid bacteria-derived substances, the company was incorporated in Wako City in 1994 and celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2024.
