Secretariat of the Chubu Region Digital Twin Promotion Preparatory Committee, Mr. Koji Ishikawa, Nishikawa Communications Co.
Digital Twin is one of the ways to advance to the next stage of IoT in the DX of manufacturing industry. It can be realized as data in a single virtual space from product design/design/prototyping/manufacturing processes/product testing, and can also be an active area for data scientists to analyze user experiences of products. This presentation will also provide an overview of the Digital Twin, which was established for the purpose of spreading awareness and developing human resources.
Lecture I 14:45-15:15
Countermeasures against False Information in the Era of Generative AI
Dr. Miki Matsuda, Cyber Security Laboratory, National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT)
Why do we believe and spread false information? While it is easy to create false information with the evolution of generative AI, it is becoming increasingly difficult to detect and prevent the spread of false information. Behind this are the fragility of human cognition and the structural problems of social networking sites. In this lecture, I will discuss the mechanisms by which people spread false misinformation and countermeasures against it. Let's explore together what we can do now.
Lecture II 15:20-16:00
