株式会社永楽屋
Eirakuya Corporation (headquartered in Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture; Yoshihiro Saida, President; hereinafter "Eirakuya"), operator of Eirakuya, a Kyoto confectionery and Kyoto tsukudani, will start selling "Lemon Shizuku Ice" from June 1, 2025 (Sunday).
■Summer-only shaved ice with the refreshing aroma of Setoda-grown eco-lemons and Kyoto craftsmanship
Lemon Shizuku Ice
Lavishly uses eco lemons delivered from Setoda Town, Hiroshima Prefecture. Grown in a rich natural environment, the lemons are fully exposed to the clear sea breezes and warm sunlight, and their natural flavor is accentuated by chemical fertilizer-free cultivation. This summer-only shaved ice is layered with the refreshing aroma of Setoda lemons, mild yogurt, and the richness of cream cheese.
The slight sweetness of honey envelops the entire flavor, giving it a gentle depth of flavor.
On top of the ice is "Lemon Shizuku," an amber sugar sold only at Eirakuya for a limited time.
The beautiful amber sugar, with its jewel-like transparency, adds a cool accent to the drink.
We hope you will enjoy this special summer shaved ice that combines the natural blessings of Setoda with the craftsmanship of Kyoto.

Eco-Lemons from Setoda, Hiroshima Prefecture, with their fresh aroma and gentle acidity, are made into amber sugar.
Eirakuya's amber sugar values a delicate texture like cracking thin ice, aiming for a crispy outside and a moist inside so that customers can enjoy the aroma and flavor of the fruit itself.
The unique texture and flavor that our artisans strive for form the charm of amber sugar that cannot be found anywhere else.
The juice, pulp, and rind of the lemon are trapped inside a single piece of sugar. The unique lemon flavor, a harmony of natural acidity and sweetness, fills the mouth with a cool, refreshing experience. It is the perfect Japanese confectionery to refresh you on a hot summer day.

■Company Profile
Eirakuya
Established in 1946. We deal in both sweet (Kyoto sweets) and savory (Kyoto tsukudani).
Although seemingly a relative combination, both are food colorings that go well with "tea and rice," which are indispensable for Japanese people.
Each has its own signature products, such as "Kohaku," an agar confection that is particular about its beauty, and "Hitotokuchi Shiitake," a tsukudani made from domestically grown shiitake mushrooms.
