Since its opening on October 4, 2024, World Animal Day, the clinic has been providing veterinary care for animals that "get out of control at veterinary clinics" or "do not like to be examined and cannot be approached" and their families in the comfort of their own homes. This area expansion will allow us to offer our veterinary services to those in the community who have not been able to receive our services in the past, as well as to build relationships with those we can trust, and will serve as a stepping stone for the resumption of nighttime medical services, which was the original purpose of our clinic.

Background of Renewal

The hospital opened on October 4, 2024, World Animal Day, as a house call veterinary hospital specializing in nighttime emergencies. The idea was born out of this experience. The fact that making house calls specializing in nighttime is high-risk and that there are few female veterinarians who work that way privately led me to open my own practice to pave the way for myself. However, while considering the operation of nighttime emergency house calls, I decided that it would be better to first build deep and trusting relationships with more families, and then give higher priority to responding flexibly to their animals' conditions and wishes. For particularly fearful dogs and cats, we provide individually paced medical care in the comfort of your home.

Director Tadami provides meticulous veterinary care based on his wealth of experience, which includes primary care, end-of-life care, and nighttime emergency care in Tokyo, Saitama, Hyogo, and Chiba, as well as his experience as director of a veterinary hospital in Ebisu.

One of the major characteristics of our clinic is that the preventive medical care we have practiced since I was a newcomer, which focuses on the animal's final days, coincidentally coincides with the "life conference (advanced care planning)" that has been attracting attention in recent years. By considering the animal's life together with the family's view of life and values, the direction of veterinary care can be decided while the animal is healthy, and if necessary, the animal can be connected to a university hospital, etc. (e.g., we discuss with the family in advance about the future treatment plan and how to spend the final days of the animal's life, and support them in making the best choice for the animal to live its life as an animal).

Our clinic is operated by a single veterinarian, and we specialize in providing attentive and thorough care to each animal and its family. Until now, our services have been provided mainly by word of mouth, but with this area expansion, we will continue to provide high quality veterinary care that is close to animals and their families and respects their individuality, based in Musashino City, where Nippon Veterinary and Life Science University, our alma mater, is located.
