About "O3 Cosmic Memory

O3 Cosmic Memory is a quietly shining light sculpture made from the membrane material of a gas balloon that has actually reached the stratosphere.

This material holds the memory of touching the "entrance to the universe," and Takuma Yamazaki has reconstructed it as an illuminated sculpture to be stored and appreciated like a specimen.

The sculpture was created using actual materials used by Iwatani Giken (Hokkaido, Japan), which aims to "establish a space walk.

This work was created as a light for people who aim to see landscapes they have not yet seen, and as a light to accompany and watch over their departure.
