14歳の写真展

The "14-Year-Old Photo Exhibition," which was held for the first time in May 2024 and received a great response, will return to Ryogoku, Tokyo, in the summer of 2025.

The "14-Year-Old Photography Exhibition Vol. 2" will feature five boys living in the ambiguous and shaky age of 14--Yujin Kobayashi, Toruya Shimizu, Liao Tani, Yujin Kobayashi, Toruya Shimizu, and Ryo Tani.

The photographer, Yuko Akachi, looked at these five boys through the lens of her camera.

The exhibition will feature photographs of ambiguous, delicate, and vividly shifting "14-year-old moments" along with interviews with the photographers. The aim of this exhibition is to give viewers a deeper and closer sense of the "now" of the 14-year-olds than in the previous exhibition.

What is the "14 Years Old" Photo Exhibition?

Fourteen-year-olds are often the subject of novels, songs, and movies, such as the novel "4TEEN" and the song "14th Syndrome. Photographer Yuko Meichi has photographed this ambiguous period, which changes every second, and will exhibit these photographs along with interviews.

At the inaugural exhibition in May 2024, we photographed and exhibited five photographers, Sakuraga, Togashi An, Ishihara Soya, Takeuchi Ryuto, and Kazui Hakuon, across Japan, and received a great response.
