Atami's specialty "Atami Bataa Anpan", which has sold over 1.2 million units in total, now offers summer-only products!

Opened in August 2021, the store was created in collaboration with Mataichi An, a long-established Japanese-style confectionery store that has represented Shizuoka since its establishment in 1871, and specializes in anko (sweet bean paste) and butter, a blend of Japanese and Western sweets. The most popular item is the "Atami Bataan Anpan", which combines the homemade red bean paste made from Hokkaido Erimo azuki beans and mild butter that Mataichi An has been passing down for more than 150 years. Thanks to the patronage of our many customers, we sold a cumulative total of 1.2 million pieces in May 2025!

The Atami Bataa Anpan is now available only during the summer season, perfect for this time of year when the temperature rises. In addition to the "[chilled] Atami Bataa Anpan Salted Vanilla" and the "Atami Bataa Anpan Manju Salted Vanilla", which were very popular last year, and the "Atami Bataa Anpan Manju Salted Vanilla", which is also delicious chilled, four other products will be released: the "[chilled] Bataa Andorayaki" and "Bataa Anmitsu.
