Due to the success of the first joint recruitment information session held at POTLUCK YAESU in Yaesu, Tokyo last May 2024 (17 participating companies, over 100 participants), we will hold the second joint recruitment information session in Tanimachi, Osaka.
About "Joint Recruitment Briefing for Venture Businesses in Nishiawakura Village
This is a casual round-table style event where you can talk directly with representatives (and some of the people in charge) of venture companies working on new businesses in Nishiawakura-mura. You are welcome to enter and leave during the session, so please feel free to attend if you are interested in Nishiawakura Village, if you are interested in moving to the region but worried about the work, if you want to start something new in a small village, if you want to meet people doing interesting things, and so on.

About Nishiawakura Village
Nishiawakura Village is a village of 1,300 people located in the north of Okayama Prefecture. The forest coverage is 93%. Since 2004, when Nishiawakura Village refused to merge with other municipalities and chose to become independent as a village, it has focused on industrial development and many business entities have been born. These companies are called local ventures. Over the past 20 years, more than 70 new businesses have been created, with total sales of more than 2.5 billion yen. The number of immigrants has also increased, and currently 250 people live in the area, which is more than 20% of the population. Although many cases of business start-ups by immigrants are often featured, local business owners and local government officials have been remarkably active, and the number of business start-ups by U-turn personnel is also increasing.
