Announcement of the 44th Annual License Manager Training

The Society for Assessment and Accreditation of Management of IT Assets (SAMAC) will hold its 44th License Manager Training on Friday, September 19, 2025.

What is the License Manager (CLM) certification?

The 44th Annual License Manager (CLM) Training will be held on September 19, 2025 at the Tokyo International Association of Software Publishers (TIPS) in Tokyo, Japan, SAMAC recognizes the need for additional knowledge and understanding of licensing and its programs.

In light of this situation, SAMAC has developed the License Manager certification to promote better procurement and use of software licenses for everyone involved with software, with a primary focus on procurement professionals and managers in organizations.

The License Manager training will cover the basics of software licensing, the licensing programs of major publishers, as well as the fundamentals of management and procurement.

Revision of Certification Criteria

Please read the following changes to the CLM Certification Criteria.

For new certification, a registration fee of 11,000 yen (including 10% consumption tax) is required.

In the case of a new certification, a registration fee of 11,000 yen (including 10% consumption tax) will be required.

However, applications will be closed as soon as the maximum number of participants is reached.

The minimum number of participants is set for this training. In the event that the number of participants does not reach the limit, the training will be carried over to the next session or the course fee will be refunded.

Please note that due to the effects of the new coronavirus, etc., the training may be postponed even if the minimum number of participants has been reached.

■CLM Examination

The exam will be held at the venue after the training and will be taken online.

■Concerning the course registration form

After confirming your payment, we will send you an enrollment form about a week prior to the training. Please bring your name card with you on the day of the training.

Other Notes

If you are not in good physical condition, you will not be able to participate in the training.
