(Head Office: Fukuoka, Japan; President: Ryu Takeno) has added a new function to its sales support service, Kagpon (), which can automatically generate 3D data for custom-made furniture using AI based on text or images. Kagpon, the first sales efficiency tool in the furniture industry
■Background and Aims
Proposing custom-made furniture used to take a lot of time and cost, from hearing the customer's opinions to designing and creating drawings and computer graphics. In particular, it took a long time to agree on the image with the customer, which was also a hurdle to business negotiations.
To address this issue, Adal has developed a function that enables anyone to intuitively create and propose 3D images of custom-made furniture by incorporating generative AI technology into its own service, "Kagpon.
Automatic generation of 3D data from text and images
■Service Overview
This function, available on "Kagpon," generates 3D data in the following two ways
Generated from images
When a user enters an image of a piece of furniture, budget, and name, the AI searches for similar products. If there is no match, a new 3D data is generated.
Generate from text
By simply entering an image in text, such as "for cafes," "wooden and simple," or "linear design," the AI will generate four patterns of furniture images. Based on the selected image, similar products or new 3D data will be proposed.
Generation Flow Chart
Example of use
For example, when a café chain requested a "simple wooden dust box to be made to order," it would conventionally take several days for a designer to design and create a computer graphics.
With this service, all the customer has to do is enter the words "wooden, simple, dust box for cafes," and the AI will automatically generate a 3D image for the proposal in a few minutes, making it possible to share the image with the customer immediately. The image can be shared with the customer immediately.
Advantages of introducing this service
Reduce time to proposal from a few days to a few minutes to a few hours.
Even non-designers can check and compare designs intuitively.
Accelerates business negotiations and improves order acceptance rate.
Contribute to cost reduction and business efficiency
Notes on the use of this function
This function is currently not compatible with chairs and other legged furniture (products with legs). Please note that due to structural limitations, this function is not applicable to the generation of legged furniture.
