Uncle Kiyogappa
Uncle Kiyogappa was born in Kanagawa Prefecture. He is the representative of UNOBITO, a regional development company based in Kiyokawa Village, the only village in Kanagawa Prefecture, and is currently running the Miyagase Arigato Cafe. He invented the character "Kiyogappa" and is active as an illustrator and picture book author, "Kiyogappa Ojisan. UNOBITO, which is expanding its business to spread "fun" in rural areas, is promoting the charms of Kiyokawa Village through the Kiyo-Gappa series of picture books.
