Summer-only Giant Insect Appearance & Treasure Excavation Experience! Create family memories at Sakuhira Parada, where you can also enjoy hot springs and BBQ!

Sakuhira Highway Oasis Parada (Saku City, Nagano Prefecture) will be offering a wide variety of family fun throughout the day during the Bon vacation period. A giant insect will make its first appearance on the summit lift, which will be open only during the summer season. A new excavation experience, "Treasure Hunter," has been added to Kids' Land, and is expected to be very popular among children. In addition, there will be an insectarium, beetle dome, BBQ, lift & slider, Miharashi no Yu (hot spring), campsite, and other activities to enjoy the coolness and nature unique to the highlands.

◆An adventure only in summer! Giant insects appear on the summit lift!

In the summit area at an elevation of 1,300 meters, a lift will be operated only in summer, and a new "giant insect" will appear in summer 2025. It will be a great spot for commemorative photos.

◆"Treasure Hunter" in Kids Land

A new area will be added to the indoor Kids' Land. The "Treasure Hunter" digs fossils and gems out of the sand, making for an engrossing and enjoyable excavation experience. It is also perfect for free research during summer vacation.
