About the "Special Feature on Nutrition Education for Developing the Ability to Eat

The dining situation at home continues to change as society moves forward. The environment surrounding our food is facing a variety of issues, such as fewer opportunities for cooking, orphaned children, unbalanced nutrition due to picky eating and simple meals, and so on. In this special issue, with the theme of "nurturing the power to eat," we introduce columns that include perspectives to increase interest in "food" itself, simple recipes that parents and children can enjoy cooking together safely, and snack recipes that encourage children to take an interest in food and engage in lively activities. The recipes are all part of a daily routine. All of these recipes can be incorporated into everyday life and can be made with ingredients that are readily available in everyday life. In the introduction of recipes related to nutrition education, recommended recipes are introduced from the three important perspectives of "eating together," "cooking with parents and children," and "eco-friendly" as cooking and cooking ideas to be practiced at home, as well as by "Nutritional Balance Guide Cooking Categories" to make it easier to choose recipes.
