HEY! Gangnam celebrates the 50th anniversary of its opening with pomp and circumstance 2025 Gangnam Festival

Gangnam-gu (Office Manager: Cho Seong-myeong) will hold the "2025 Gangnam Festival" from September 25 to October 3, 2025 throughout Gangnam, including COEX, Yeongdongdero, and Mal Park, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of its opening. Now in its 14th year, the festival has been further enhanced as a comprehensive K-culture festival combining music, fashion, gastronomy, and sports.

The festival will feature the "Opening Ceremony" and "Vision Declaration Ceremony," "Yongdongdero K-Pop Concert," "HEY Gangnam Family Concert," "Gangnam Fashion Festa," "Gourmet Tour & K-Culture Zone," "Mal Park Music Picnic," "Fringe Performance," "KBS Open Concert," Gangnam International Peace Marathon" and "HEY Bong-eun Sansa Temple Concert", the entire Gangnam area will be filled with festive excitement.

Major events around COEX

Starting with the "Vision Declaration Ceremony & Opening Ceremony" to be held at COEX East Square on September 26, "Yongdongdero K-POP Concert" featuring popular artists such as god, BTOB, and SF9 will be held on the 27th, and "HEY Gangnam Family Concert" featuring stars from the 90s will follow on the 28th.

In addition, "Gangnam Fashion Festa" will be held at Coex Artium (September 26-28), where K-fashion will be on display, and "Gourmet Travel & K-Culture Zone" (September 25-28) will be held at K-POP Plaza, where you can enjoy gourmet food from around the world. The "Gourmet Travel & K-Culture Zone" (Sept. 25-28) will be held at K-Pop Plaza, where visitors can enjoy a variety of attractions and experiences.

Special programs throughout Gangnam

FRINGE Performance" (September 25~28) will be held at Gangnam Station, Karosugil, Apgujeong Rodeo Street, etc., where tightrope walking, busking, and cover dancing will be mixed, and "Music Picnic" (September 27) will be held at Gaepo-dong Mal Park.

In addition, the "KBS Open Music Concert" will be held in the Sinsachamwon area of Hangang Park on October 2, and the "Gangnam International Peace Marathon" with approximately 10,000 participants and the "HEY Bongeunsan Temple Music Concert" at Bongeunsan Temple will be held on October 3, marking the finale of the festival.

■ Expanding Participation of Overseas Tourists

Gangnam-gu, in cooperation with the Korea Tourism Organization and the global platform Trip.com, will offer hotel and day tour packages exclusively for overseas tourists, and special goods will be given to those who book in advance. In addition, WALK-IN viewing zones will be operated for each program so that tourists who have already visited Korea can easily enjoy the programs.
