Lino Lino to Exhibit at the First Tokyo Kimono Show in Taipei, Taiwan

Tokyo Kimono Show, one of the largest kimono events in Japan, will be held overseas for the first time from December 19 (Fri.) to 21 (Sun.), 2025. The event will be held at the Huashan 1914 Cultural and Creative Industrial Park in Taipei, a cultural hub in Taipei. With kimono as its core, the exhibition, experience, and show will fuse traditional Japanese culture with modern lifestyles.

This year's event in Taiwan is the realization of a dream that has been in the works since its inception in 2015, and will serve as a stage for new cultural exchanges that will link Japan and Taiwan, two regions that have a strong cultural affinity. The exhibition will also feature a collaborative exhibition by Japanese and Taiwanese creators, including the participation of Justin Chow, a leading Taiwanese fashion designer (who designed the official uniforms for the Taiwan Olympic team).

Lino Lino will also be exhibiting, bringing Japanese woodworking culture to a rose made of wood.

Lino Lino manufactures and sells "Kanna Flower Art," which is made of hiba shavings sharpened with a Japanese carpenter's tool called "Kanna" and made into flowers, and has been attracting attention as a new form of fragrant art in various scenes, from gifts and interior decoration for general consumers to celebratory flowers for corporations.

At the exhibition in Taiwan, representative works including kanna flower art accessories that harmonize with kimonos and "floating roses" that allow visitors to enjoy the fragrance of hiba (hiba) will be on display. In addition, a demonstration of kanna shaving will be held, allowing visitors to experience the fragrance of hiba and the sensitivity and handiwork of the Japanese people.
