The Kurashiki City of Art Executive Committee (Secretariat: Kurashiki City Tourism Division, Kurashiki Convention & Visitors Bureau) will hold the 6th "Art in Kurashiki 2025" from October 1, 2025 (Wednesday) as part of the "City of Art Kurashiki" initiative promoted by Kurashiki City since fiscal 2025.

This event will feature a digital photo rally that will take visitors on a tour of the city's museums, galleries, and sweets stores. Through original sweets featuring paintings from the collection of the Ohara Museum of Art and a new museum tour to be launched this year, visitors will have the opportunity to see, eat, and learn about Kurashiki's deep fascination with history, handicrafts, and contemporary art. 1. "A Journey to Capture Memories" with a Digital Photo Rally

This event will feature a digital photo rally based on the concept of "a trip to capture memories. By visiting at least one art facility and one sweets store, visitors can collect a total of six or more limited edition photo frames by scanning the QR code.

2. 3 Stories and New Tours at Art Facilities

At the 11 art facilities participating in the photo rally, visitors can experience the depth of Kurashiki through a model course themed on three stories: "Kurashiki History," "Mingei" (folk art), and "Contemporary Art. This year, in addition to these tours, we will offer a new museum tour that allows visitors to experience Kurashiki's art more deeply. 3.

3. original sweets to savor masterpieces

At the 10 sweets stores participating in the photo rally, visitors can enjoy special original sweets with motifs of paintings from the Ohara Museum of Art's collection as "limited time only sweets to savor masterpieces.
