Social Welfare Service Corporation Flat (Location: Matsue City, Shimane Prefecture; President: Hiroyuki Nitta) has judged and selected works submitted from all over Japan for the "1st Tsunagaru Hirogaru Art∞Link Contest" held from February 1 to March 20, 2025, utilizing digital illustrations and generated AI. The "Artlink Museum," which exhibits the entries including the winning works in the Metaverse space, is now open to the public.

The museum is supervised and designed by media artist and Kyoto University of Arts lecturer Teru Kawakita. Based on the theme of an endlessly expanding universe with no boundaries, students of Kyoto University of the Arts designed four planets symbolizing forest, water, love, and light in 3DCG.

Visitors can immerse themselves in the Metaverse from any location of their choice and experience the diverse works submitted to the contest. Through the immersive experience unique to the Metaverse, the exhibition poses the question, "How far can art expand and connect?
Teru Kawakita
Born in 1998, Teru Kawakita is a media artist and researcher, and currently serves as a lecturer at Kyoto University of the Arts. His creative and scholarly work explores themes such as the mid- to long-term evolution of Kansei, the flux of Kansei, as well as the intersections of mind, region, and nature. He holds two Master’s degrees: one in Knowledge Science and another in Clinical Psychology (professional program). He is also a Certified Psychologist and a VR Engineer. Kawakita has received over 20 awards in both art and research, and his work is highly regarded across diverse fields. His current research focuses on Kansei Engineering, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), and Information Design.
