Asada wood has a strong, dense bark and beautiful grain, but it has not been widely used as a furniture material because it grows in scattered patches in mountainous areas and the amount of wood collected is limited. Oak Village saw this wood as a "dormant charm" and wanted to bring it to life in our daily lives. We wanted to bring this overlooked wood into our daily lives.
