Compact yet safe design conforming to IEC61010-1 Launched the CD5 Series of Digital Multimeters

Ltd. (headquartered in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Masahide Tanaka, President) has launched the CD5 series of handy-type digital multimeters, three models, on September 16, 2025.

Product Overview

The CD5 series of digital multimeters has a total lineup of four models, and three models, CD5001/5002/5004, will go on sale first. The CD5001 is suitable for the electrical engineering field where voltage measurements are frequently required, while the CD5002 is suitable for general-purpose applications requiring various measurements, and the CD5004 is equipped with Bluetooth. The main unit has a smart design that fits in one hand for easy holding and operation.

The LCD display is large and backlit for high visibility. The rotary switch in the center has a wide range of movement and is set to one position and one function to minimize the number of operations for basic measurements. Test probe holders are provided on the left and right sides of the main unit to hold the test probe in place during storage and measurement. When a new stable measurement value is detected, a buzzer sounds and the new measurement value is automatically held. A notable feature is the AUTOHOLD function, which automatically holds a new measurement value by sounding a buzzer when a new stable measurement value is detected from the time the function button is pressed.
