Keyaki Hiroba Illumination 2025-26 Nobuo Hara and Sharps & Flats" Lighting Ceremony on November 1
~Blessing Forest: A Symphony of Sound and Light The 20th Saitama Shin Toshin Jazz Day & Illumination Lighting Ceremony
Saitama Arena Co.Ltd.
Saitama Arena Co. (8 Shintoshin, Chuo-ku, Saitama-shi, Saitama; President: Hirotsugu Mikami) will hold the "Keyaki-hiroba Illumination 2025-26," a winter festival in Saitama Shintoshin, for the 26th time from November 1, 2025 (Saturday) to January 18, 2026 (Sunday).
This year, under the title of "Blessing Forest - Symphony of Blessing Sound and Light," we will present an illumination with an ingenious combination of sound effects and light movements. As you exit Saitama-shintoshin Station, turn left and go through the welcome gate at the entrance, and about 150 zelkova trees illuminated with approximately 200,000 LED bulbs, mainly blue, will welcome you into a fantasy world.

Overhead curtain lights are scattered along the pathway leading to the Saitama Super Arena and the restaurants and stores of Keyaki Hiroba, illuminating everyone who passes by. On the tree-lined avenue leading to the lawn, a "Symphony of Blessed Sound and Light" (*) will delight everyone's heart.
*The symphony will be played for about 2 minutes between 5:00 pm and 10:00 pm. The timing of the performance is subject to change depending on the event.

A rectangular mirror object will appear as you pass through the tree-lined avenue. We hope you will take a picture of the illumination reflected on the object as a Portable Memory. This year, music will also envelop you under the overhead staves. (The music will last for about 2 minutes during a certain period of time.)

The shining curtain lights lead you down an escalator to a dazzling illumination with a variety of moving images. Visitors can enjoy a variety of images on all sides while their eyes are drawn up by the spirit of musical notes spreading above their heads. Near the photogenic space is the Keyaki Hiroba Restaurant & Shop. Please use it for eating, drinking, and shopping.

On November 1 (Sat.), the first day of the lighting, we will collaborate with "Saitama Shin Toshin Jazz Day," which will be held for the 20th time. Nobuo Hara and Sharps & Flats," a world-class big band that made a comeback last year, will be the guest performer for the lighting ceremony and live concert.
Saitama Arena Co., Ltd. will provide an illumination that will enhance the sense of happiness of all visitors this year, the 26th year of the festival.
(8 Shintoshin, Chuo-ku, Saitama-shi, Saitama; President: Hirotsugu Mikami) will cooperate with "The 20th Saitama Shintoshin Jazz Day" (hereinafter referred to as "this event"), a project organized by the Saitama Big Band Association (Kasukabe-shi, Saitama; Chairman: Takamitsu Narita). This event will be held at various locations in Saitama-shintoshin (Keyaki Hiroba, Saitama-shintoshin Station Free Passage, Saitama-shintoshin East Exit Station Deck, and Cocoon City) for two days from November 1 (Sat) to 2 (Sun).
This event is a festival of mainly amateur jazz bands, held once a month from March to October, with the aim of creating "Saitama-shintoshin, a town where jazz fits well" (a space where local residents can casually enjoy music), which we have been working on. It is held annually in conjunction with "LOVE JAZZ TIME*," which is held once a month from March to October.
While the 20th event has a history and scale of more than 700 groups, the appeal of this event is its closeness to the audience.
This year, the legendary band "Nobuo Hara and the Sharps & Flats," which has led the world-wide big band jazz scene, will be invited to perform at the illumination lighting ceremony and special live concert on Saturday, November 1, from 5:15 pm. (The lights will be turned on around 5:30 p.m. and the performance is scheduled to begin around 5:45 p.m.)

In addition to Keyaki Hiroba, the festival will be held at a total of six venues in front of Saitama-shintoshin Station, the East Exit Deck, and Cocoon City, making Saitama-shintoshin truly a Jazz town during these two days. The full-fledged performances are guaranteed to make the hearts of all those who attend the festival dance with excitement. We hope you will come and listen to the chic, comfortable, and warm sounds of Jazz, which will resonate comfortably in the clear autumn sky and long autumn nights.
LOVE JAZZ TIME...An event held once a month on Sundays from March to October at Keyaki Hiroba in Saitama Shin Toshin. You can enjoy wonderful performances mainly by small bands.
