Prologue", an original handbell developed by a metalworking craftsman, a musician, and a company in Kashiwa City, Chiba Prefecture, is now available as a tax return gift from the hometown of Kashiwa City.
The "Prologue" is an entry-level model of English handbells, which are expensive and difficult to obtain, and can be played from the day they are received. The product is limited to two sets per year because each note is hand-tuned.

Handbell [prologue
Resonance created by craftsmanship and musician's sensitivity
The bells of "prologue" are formed from a single sheet of metal using a traditional technique called "hera-shibori" by metalworking craftsmen in Kashiwa City. The pitch is fine-tuned with expert skill and supervised by professional handbell player Michiko Fujita (President of Kanade Ongaku Kikaku Co., Ltd.).
The warmth of handcrafted handbells and the solid sound of a performance instrument are combined. The surface is polished and painted for a beautiful craftwork finish.
