Supporting Household Finances with One-Yen Products! Yamakishi Supports Local Lifestyles Sale is being held at the Kawakita and Asahi stores!
株式会社山岸
Home Center Yamakishi (operated by Yamagishi Co., Ltd.) is conducting a sales project at the Kawakita and Asahi stores to sell products at impactful prices, "products that can be bought for 1 yen" (sales conditions apply.) Customers come to the stores looking for 1 yen products. (Sales conditions apply.) Customers come to the store for the one-yen items, and some items are sold out within an hour.
At the Kawakita store, the sale is limited to one item per day on weekdays only, and often sells out between 12:00 and 15:00. In the case of particularly popular items, the items may be gone within an hour of the start of the sale.
At the Asahi store, this event is held every day, both weekdays and weekends, and approximately 300 pieces of one item per day are available. However, they may not be listed on the flyer.
This measure began in May 2019 and is now in its sixth year. It has become a familiar initiative for everyone in the community.
Although the recent sharp rise in prices has made it difficult for Yamaxy to manage its business, we intend to continue this policy as part of our efforts to support local households and their livelihoods.
Background of the ¥1 Sale
In recent years, the price of food and daily necessities has risen due to soaring prices and the weak yen, and the burden on daily life has increased. Yamakishi introduced the one-yen sale with the aim of "supporting local lifestyles" and "increasing the number of customers. The response to the sale exceeded expectations, and the company now offers the sale at its Kawakita and Asahi stores on an ongoing basis.
The method of announcement is as follows.
Cheapest in the Universe! Unbeatable one-yen sale!" and other high-impact POP. The information is widely distributed through flyers, the website, X, Instagram, in-store POP, and other means.
