Ergolancel G.K. (located in Kawaguchi-shi, Saitama Prefecture) is pleased to announce its new "Ergolancel Premium Model" school bags for children entering school in 2027. The reception is scheduled to start in March 2026, the same as the regular model.

We checked the web listings of major Japanese school bag manufacturers and could not confirm any school bags with "X-PAC fabric" or "3D mesh spring structure.

Since its establishment, MOL has been developing "easy-to-carry school bags" based on the philosophy of "reducing the burden on children's bodies" by applying the structure of a mountaineering backpack. The new premium model is our flagship model that further evolves this technology and pursues "the ultimate in back-back-bearing comfort" by updating all the materials, structure, and fit.

(1) X-PAC used for the main body fabric - the first high-functional material used in school bags

The main body is made of X-PAC**, a highly functional material, for the first time in the school bag industry.

X-PAC is an advanced material developed by DIMENSION-POLYANT, a U.S. company that boasts the world's top share in sailcloth (sailboat sails), and has a structure that integrates three layers of "outer fabric," "X-PLY (high strength fiber)" and "inner fabric" using proprietary technology.

As a result, "overwhelming durability," "surprising lightness," and "high waterproof performance" are realized simultaneously.
