ACT芸能進学校
ACT Performing Arts Advancement School (A-Gei), which has been providing an environment for children and aspiring actors nationwide to learn acting, mainly through online lessons, celebrates its 5th anniversary in October 2025. Since its opening, the school has supported approximately 200+ students, mainly children who aspire to become actors. The school has also been used as a place to foster self-expression and communication skills.
The "Oshibai Fest," held to commemorate the 5th anniversary, featured a variety of programs including film screenings, theater presentations, and audition projects. It was a special day that allowed children to grow through practice.
5th Anniversary "Oshibai Fest" Held
To commemorate this milestone year, "Oshibai Fest" was held on August 2, 2025 at Musashino Kokaido Hall with a full day of programs related to theatrical performances. The festival was filled with a wide variety of activities, including film screenings, theater presentations, a hands-on program for beginners, and the "A-Gei Grand Prix 2025" audition project.
Experience Program
We prepared a program that anyone who stopped by on the day could participate in with the hope that they would enjoy acting casually, even if they were not aiming to become an actor.
In the program, you could choose one item from the many items prepared on stage and try to introduce the product as a salesman, or you could try to sell the product with the words, "What? Seriously! Are you okay? and a game in which participants were asked to imagine how they felt when they uttered these one-word phrases.

This is an audition project where children and young people who aspire to be actors take the first step toward their dreams.
Nine finalists who passed the preliminary rounds performed on stage. The day was an online hybrid type. Online participation from distant places is also possible! Judging was conducted by film directors and actors, who comprehensively evaluated their expressive ability and potential.
Managers from entertainment production companies also visited the event, making it a very exciting and practical opportunity for scouting.

Theater Presentations
A-gei has so far focused its lessons on "video acting" with the aim of appearing in movies and dramas, but this "Oshibai Fest" will be the first time that the members gathered as the Engei Club will try their hand on the stage.
The members of the Engei Club gathered for the first time to try their hand at performing on stage at the "Oshibai Fest.
They experienced the tension and joy of "performing in front of an audience and feeling the live reactions" that only a stage performance can provide.

Cast : Shinji Yoshioka, Kyoka Yokosuka, M.K.
The theme of this year's event was "The Worst Situation Ever".
Participating children devised roles they wanted to try out. AI challenged them to create an original script by combining those characters and elements in a new attempt. In a short period of preparation, the children memorized their lines, refined their standing positions, emotional expressions, etc., and went into the performance.
The process of exchanging opinions and shaping scenes with each other was a valuable opportunity for the students to develop a sense of responsibility and the joy of creating a work as a team.
Despite their nervousness, the students were able to perform in front of the audience with aplomb!

A scene from the actual stage performance
In the future, A-gei will continue to create opportunities for theatrical practice that nurtures the students' ability to express themselves on stage as well as on video.

The day was filled with a lot of fun and excitement, and the event was further enlivened by the comedy duo Oshiels and the first grand prix winner, Aiun Tano, who acted as MCs and kept the whole event moving along in a light-hearted manner.
They filled the venue with warm laughter and brought out the charm of the performers.

The MC event ended without incident. Thank you very much!
Comment from Ms. Aiun Tano
Thank you very much for letting me be the MC for this event!
Thanks to the Osiels, my nerves were eased and I was able to enjoy the event.
Thank you very much for entrusting me with the important role of deciding the order of the A-Gei Grand Prix!
