The Udo store also offers a limited edition "Almond Milk" for 400 yen.
It is made by blending fresh cream from Hokkaido with carefully selected almond milk that contains no flavorings or colorings, and has the aroma and sweetness of almonds themselves. These raw doughnuts are unadorned but luxurious, with a deep and penetrating flavor.
The brand uses raw milk from farms in Mifuka-cho, Hokkaido and other parts of Hokkaido, with the goal of contributing to the development of Hokkaido's primary industry and the creation of a sixth industry. The first store in Hokkaido specializing in fresh doughnuts opened in Sapporo on Tuesday, February 14, 2023, and has been featured in the media and on social networking sites, with customers lining up every day to get their doughnuts.
Unlike conventional doughnuts, "raw doughnuts" have a texture that disappears in your mouth and is so soft that it almost crumbles when you hold it in your hand. The doughnut's round shape is so cute that many people are posting it on social networking sites, making it a trendy sweet in Hokkaido.
Milked Drake's raw doughnuts feature a moist and smooth dough made mainly from flour from Tokachi, Hokkaido's magnificent land, with plenty of eggs and butter. Pasteurized milk grown on a farm in Hokkaido, which does not use preservatives, gives the dough a rich, sweet taste. The cream is made from fresh milk from the Nekushiro region of Hokkaido, and various flavored creams are prepared based on the rich fresh cream. The cake is deep-fried at high temperature to make the outside crispy and the inside melt in your mouth like fresh cream.
