Immediately Realize 10cm Accurate Positioning Import and Sales of REYAX's UWB Development Kit "RYUW122_DK" Started

M2M Craft Co. (Head office: Sapporo, Hokkaido; President: Manabu Wada) will start importing and selling REYAX's UWB development kit "RYUW122_DK" for the Japanese market in February 2026, which enables verification and introduction of 10cm precision positioning in a short time.

In addition to UWB and Wi-Fi modules that have acquired technical qualification, this kit provides software for positioning and development assets all in one package, significantly shortening the development period for UWB positioning systems.

Anchor Device RYUW122_ANCHOR1 (Kit Contents)

Main features of this kit

This product is a ready-to-use positioning solution package that combines precise distance measurement using UWB and data transmission using Wi-Fi.

The package consists of four RYUW122_ANCHOR1 UWB anchor boards, two RYUW122_Lite mobile UWB tags, a USB interface to supply power to the RYUW122_Lite, and a PC to configure the module's communication settings. Two RYLS135 USB/UART bridge devices with adjustable power supply voltage are also included to power the RYUW122_Lite from the USB interface and to configure the module's communication settings from a PC.

The set also includes firmware source code for the STM32(R) MCU on the anchor board and GUI application source code in C# that runs on a Microsfot(R) Windows(R) PC. This allows developers to start positioning tests in a short period of time without having to build a system from scratch.

The anchor "RYUW122_ANCHOR1," which is the key component of the kit, includes the UWB module "RYUW122" (certification number: 020-250092), which has obtained the Technical Qualification, and the Wi-Fi module "RYWB116" (certification number: 020-250092), which has newly obtained the Technical Qualification. (certification number: 020-250425), which has newly acquired the Technical Qualification, is installed to collect the distance between the anchor and the tag measured by wireless communication. High positioning performance with 10cm accuracy: UWB technology enables precise positioning with 10cm accuracy even in the presence of obstacles, and data is transmitted stably to the host PC (Windows) via Wi-Fi.

System Configuration and Technical Specifications

This system measures distances using UWB communication between anchors placed at the four corners and freely moving tags.

The anchor integrates a Wi-Fi module "RYWB116" and a UWB module "RYUW122" under the control of an STM32 MCU.

Interface: Configuration is possible via AT commands via UART interface.

Communication protocol: Anchor and GUI application (TCP server) on Windows are connected by TCP communication via Wi-Fi. Distance data measured by multiple anchor devices can be transferred to the host PC via Wi-Fi to calculate tag locations on the GUI application.

■ Provision of Software Assets

To support development, the following software and documentation will be provided on a USB memory stick.

For RYUW122_ANCHOR1: STM32 MCU firmware source code.

For Windows: C# GUI application source code to compile and display positioning data.

The configuration tool: Sample communication settings for each communication module are provided as Docklight(R) script files, and a detailed configuration guide using AT commands is also provided so that you can configure the settings using any serial communication software.
