(Head office: Sapporo, Hokkaido; President: Manabu Wada) has obtained the construction design certification (technical compliance) in Japan for the Wi-Fi communication module "RYWB116" manufactured by REYAX Technology, a Taiwanese wireless communication device manufacturer (hereinafter referred to as REYAX), and will start importing and selling the module for domestic use from February 2026. The import and sales of RYWB116 will begin in February 2026.
This product is a module that combines unparalleled reception sensitivity and extremely low power consumption in 2.4GHz band Wi-Fi communications.

Main features of RYWB116
RYWB116 has obtained the certification required for legal use in Japan (certification number: 020-250425). This module is Wi-Fi (IEEE 802.11 b/g/n) compliant and can be used safely in Japan as a dedicated Wi-Fi communication device.
Although this product is equipped with Bluetooth functionality as hardware, only Wi-Fi can be used in Japan, as the technical certification in Japan has been obtained for Wi-Fi only.
・Simple control using AT commands: UART is supported as the host interface for the communication module, enabling simple use of on-chip Socket communication, HTTP Client, and MQTT Client functions. On-chip encrypted communication functions are also supported, and currently TLS1.0 to 1.2 can be used.
The UART interface supports a baud rate of 9600 to 921600 bps.
SPI Client mode interface is also supported, enabling communication using Wiseconnect(R) SAPI.
Outstanding RF performance: -98.5 dBm extremely high reception sensitivity Wi-Fi reception sensitivity is -98.5 dBm (at 1 Mbps DSSS), which is among the highest in the industry. This high sensitivity enables stable communication even in weak signal environments, with a maximum communication distance of 200 m (up to 266 m depending on the environment).
The ultra-low power design is ideal for battery operation and features multiple power modes to dramatically extend the uptime of battery-powered IoT edge devices and wearable devices.
-Quiescent current: 3 nA
-Standby current (WLAN Standby): 51 μA (with DTIM=10 setting)
Compact and lightweight: The compact form factor with built-in antenna weighs only 0.8g. The module size is also compact, making it ideal for mounting in limited space.
Various operation modes: In addition to the normal client mode, the device supports an access point mode that supports up to 16 clients and enterprise security, allowing for flexible network construction.
