The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is pleased to announce that Taichi Aoba, a Shikoku-based ceramic artist and a member of the Church, will be featured in an episode of BYUtv's art-centered documentary series "artFUL" on February 22 at 23:00 (Japan Standard Time).

Mr. Taichi Aoba
In the February 22 episode (with Japanese audio and English subtitles), Mr. Aoba will be the first Japanese artist to be featured in the series.
The episode was filmed entirely at Aoba's workshop in Shikoku, capturing his hands-on process in detail—from gathering local clay to shaping and firing works in his traditional wood-fired kiln. Aoba is known for his ceramics with natural textures and religiously themed artworks. His life's work blends artistic mastery with deep personal faith and decades of community and Church service, including local art classes he and his wife have offered for many years.
