The Minato Mirai Heliport has been in operation for 37 years this year since the Yokohama Expo was held in 1989, and has supported helicopter operations during this time without incident.

Although there have been administrative restrictions on filming inside the wharf where the heliport is located, the conditions for filming at the heliport have been relaxed. We are pleased to distribute this press release as a new spot to receive filming inside the heliport.

Few commercial helicopters accept night flights for the general public, and those located in the center of the city are even more limited. It is a rare spot "only available in Yokohama" where you can see the night view of the city right after takeoff.

Although there are certain conditions for filming dramas, commercials (PV), etc. on location at the heliport, we have a track record of filming at heliports, and we provide filming support.

Many heliports in the Tokyo metropolitan area are not available for filming or are in remote areas. The central Yokohama area, which is often exposed in dramas and commercials, has the advantage of efficient itineraries for film crews and performers.

The location at the tip of the wharf offers a clear view and an area of approximately 3,600m2, making it suitable for filming on the ground, but the wharf is managed by Yokohama City. Please note that there are certain conditions for permission for filming on location at the heliport, depending on the content of the filming. Please note that in principle, filming that does not require a helicopter is not permitted.

The heliport is one of the few places in the Port of Yokohama where filming is permitted. Depending on the scale of the filming and the number of staff members, including extras, the procedures will be carried out in cooperation with the City of Yokohama.
