Founded in the wake of the earthquake disaster, skill-free leveling technology Received TMITI Award for "Leveling DX

After the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011, the installation levels of equipment were out of alignment in many factories, and restoration required the operation of precision leveling equipment by skilled workers. This was the impetus for the founding of Any Design Inc. The company has been promoting "Leveling DX," which enables the sharing of measurement data and work efficiency, centered on "LevelMan," a digital precision level that allows anyone to easily and precisely adjust the level. In recognition of this technology, the company received the "INNOVATION PARTNERSHIP AWARD 2025" from the Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Technology Research Institute. It is expected to contribute to work efficiency and labor savings at machine tools and industrial machinery installation sites.

On the other hand, the shortage of skilled engineers who are responsible for leveling equipment (leveling) and the labor shortage in the manufacturing industry have become issues.

Leveling DX" that does not depend on skilled work

LevelMan, a digital precision level developed by Any Design, is a system that enables real-time sharing of measurement results from multiple locations through unique wireless communication and dedicated applications.

It enables simultaneous measurement of inclination at up to 10 points (actual results) and allows multiple operators to perform adjustment work while checking the same data.

This streamlines leveling work, which previously relied on the experience of skilled technicians, eliminating the need for individualized work and improving the speed of decision-making.

■8 Years of Technology Development through Industry-Academia Collaboration

Since 2016, the company has been collaborating with the Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Technology Research Institute (TIRI) to conduct R&D on measurement and adjustment technologies.

As a result, the following products have been developed and commercialized.

■Technologies developed in the wake of the Great East Japan Earthquake

In the Great East Japan Earthquake of 2011, production facilities at many plants were moved or deformed, and the installation level (horizontal accuracy) of equipment was greatly disturbed.

Restoring the equipment to its original state required skilled workers with precision leveling equipment and advanced measuring techniques, which became a major challenge in the restoration process.

Against this backdrop, Any Design Inc. was founded in 2011 with the idea that "an environment in which anyone can accurately level equipment, which is the foundation of manufacturing, is needed.

Since then, the company has been developing technologies to realize data sharing and automation of leveling work, centering on the digital precision level "LevelMan.
