The Kanda Antiquarian Booksellers' Association will hold its first "All Nippon Antiquarian Book Fair in Chiyoda no Sakura Matsuri," the largest used book fair in its history, in Kanda Jimbocho, Tokyo, the world's largest used bookstore district, for four days from April 16 (Thu) to 19 (Sun), 2026. We are pleased to announce that the event will be held in 10 days.

More than 100 used bookstores from all over Japan, from Hokkaido in the north to Kyushu in the south, will gather, transcending regional boundaries.

Millions of books will be on display, ranging from books for daily reading to museum-quality rare books and works of art.

In this age of digitalization and emphasis on efficiency, this new event of letters, type, and paper will open a new era of "daring to forget time and enjoy a treasure hunt," an event unique to Japan, a country of great publishing power.

In a departure from the used book fairs that have been held in various regions in the past, more than 100 leading used bookstores from all over Japan will gather in Jimbocho.

This is the first time in Jimbocho's long history of more than 100 years that used bookstores from such a wide area have gathered together.

The Tokyo Antiquarian Bookstore Hall and Ogawa Plaza will be the venue for the event, where books of all genres will be on display.

At the same time, "Jimbocho Sakura-michi Festival Spring Used Book Festival" will be held on Yasukuni Street, and "Spring Jimbocho Book Festival" will be held on Suzuran Street, where publishers and new bookstores will gather.
