CODE BLUE 2026, Japan’s Premier International Cybersecurity Conference, Announces Call for Presentations (CFP); Research Grants Available for Outstanding Young Presenters; Applications for Contest and Workshop Organizers Open
CODE BLUE Executive Committee
The CODE BLUE Executive Committee has opened the Call for Presentations (CFP) for CODE BLUE 2026, an international cybersecurity conference, with training sessions scheduled for November 13–15 and the conference taking place on November 17–18 in Takadanobaba, Shinjuku, Tokyo. The submission deadline is July 31. The Committee has also begun accepting applications from organizations and companies to host contests and workshops.

■Call For Presentations
CODE BLUE has showcased cutting-edge research from leading experts around the world through the Call for Presentations (CFP). The conference covers a wide range of fields, from engineers leading the cybersecurity industry to researchers in law and political science specializing in cyberspace issues, law enforcement officials combating organized cybercrime groups, and key figures involved in national cybersecurity and foreign policy.
As in previous years, CODE BLUE 2026 is now inviting submissions for presentations. Selected speakers will be eligible for honoraria and travel support to Japan. In addition, to promote research and development among younger generations, a dedicated Youth Track (U25) has been established, with outstanding presenters receiving research grants. CODE BLUE is inviting applications from organizations and groups to host contests and workshops during the conference. Past programs have included blue team exercises focused on incident response, CTF challenges, workshops on topics such as automotive and medical devices, and ideathons for sharing tools and ideas. ■About CODE BLUE
CODE BLUE is an international cybersecurity conference that brings together top-tier experts from Japan and around the world. Renowned researchers and practitioners are invited from across the globe to share cutting-edge research findings, foster professional exchange, and cultivate the next generation of outstanding security talent in Japan and Asia by supporting their advancement onto the international stage. Since its inception, CODE BLUE has continuously served as a platform for knowledge sharing, collaboration, and community growth in the global cybersecurity field.
CODE BLUE 2026 marks the 14th edition of the conference and will be held on November 17 (Tue) and 18 (Wed), at Bellesalle Takadanobaba, the same venue as last year. In addition to the main conference, workshops, contests, sponsor exhibitions, and networking events are scheduled. The event will be conducted exclusively in person and will not offer live online streaming.* Prior to the conference, official training programs will be held from November 13 (Fri) to 15 (Sun), at Bellesalle Shinjuku Grand.
*Following the conference, selected sessions, subject to speaker approval, will be made available as archived videos for registered participants, and will later be released to the public.
