The development of "Akakara Nabe Premium" was based not only on internal feedback, but also on the opinions of 101 Akakara fans (mainly men and women in their 20s) who participated in tasting sessions held in Tokyo and Nagoya. We were able to reflect many of the feedback we received in product development, including comparisons with conventional Akakara nabe soup and impressions of the ingredients and portion sizes. As a result of the survey, 86% of women in their 20s rated the richness and flavor of the soup as better than the conventional one.

The new ingredients used are ginger-scented Nagoya Cochin cured Tsukune, pork belly from Hokkaido brand pork, chunky Soy Milk Tofu, high-quality beef shimachou, plump shrimp, and red-centered daikon radish. In addition, we have improved our in-house developed method of cutting fried tofu by cutting it in a crisscross pattern so that the soup does not run away when you put it in your mouth and you can feel its juiciness more. The white onion has been cut thicker to allow the taste buds to enjoy the texture and sweetness of the onion.
1. Ginger-scented Nagoya Cochin Fresh Tsukune
Nama Tsukune has an addictive flavor with the delicious taste of Nagoya Cochin, a premium brand of chicken, and the taste of ginger. The addition of valuable domestic yagen cartilage, kuwai (water shield), and lotus root gives the tsukune an enjoyable texture.
